The channel is excited to announce that once again it is has spread its wings to ensure that the viewers are able to reach our content anywhere and everywhere they go. The channel launched its official app this October and it is available on Google Playstore as well as iStore, please make sure you follow this link to download the app.

Head of communications at Mpuma Kapa TV, Andiswa Manyati believes that the digital space is growing and the channel needs to be part of the growth, “having our channel being available through the tip of your fingers will give our viewers more incite on what is happening on the channel.  The app will basically be a replica of what is happening on the channels TV therefore, our viewers won’t have any reason to not keep in touch with their favorite shows at MPK TV.”

The channel was also part of various media partnerships to continue being part of the Eastern Cape’s visual vehicle. We took part in the O.R Tambo gospel music festival where the Umthata community came out in numbers to glorify the word of Gospel and celebrate the CD launch of the host, Bethusile Mcinga. Mcinga highly appreciated the attendance of his 5^th Gospel festival and is truly thankful for the support the country has expressed. He believes the show is growing bigger to a point that he is certain that they would need a stadium for the next festival.

As support to our colleagues in the media industry Mpuma Kapa TV partnered the Nomonde Vakalisa Benefit concert. Prominent members of the community and media attended the concert and it was a huge success to the beneficiary.

The communications department also partnered up with the Kings of Glory sports tournament which was held in East London. The tournament covered both extravagant athletes in netball and soccer from the BCM region and the winning teams came out with exceptional prizes.

The channel is looking forward to more partnerships to clearly show that we are indeed the window of the Eastern Cape and can’t wait to keep our viewers informed and entertained.
